This suburban Springthorpe
home needed the landscaping done to the front yard. It needed a
theme to match the surrounds of the estate, which is full of native
trees & shrubs
A computer design was
created using the above photo to give the client an idea of a
possible landscape design for the area. The steep change in level
had to be addressed but with a strong native theme to the garden,
with a high drought tolerance for ease of maintenance.
Large rocks were placed in
and on the embankment to both serve for visual purposes and to
retain the soil. Stoneage pavers were used as step stones from the
front area to the side of the house.
River rocks were placed on
the area as well as amongst the rocks. A mixture of native shrubs
and sprawling ground covers were planted to set the area off and
provide some privacy to the house.
