| This
Brunswick landscaping project required the use of contemporary
themed elements to the design to complement the style of the house.
A professional design was done to which the landscaping project was
adhered to, using materials to highlight the
project. |
| |
Large format Anston pavers
were used on the project for their contemporary feel, and colour to
complement the other materials and colours used within the project.
Render colours were selected to suit the concrete and paving, being
similar yet a subtle distinction from each other.
|
| |
Anston cap
stones were also used for the tops of walls to match. Steps were
paved with the same product also. All paving areas, walls and
stairs were laid on a reinforced concrete base/footing applicable
to the soil characteristics of the area.
Exposed aggregate concrete was selected with
a combination of quartz, blue metal and brown pebbles in an off
white concrete mix to suit the
surroundings.
|
| |
The neighbouring raw brick wall was rendered
over, before timber screens were installed, with a stackstone
feature in between for contrast
|
| |
The shape of the rendered retaining wall
serves to suit the contemporary style, with the grid pattern of
pavers with river rocks filled in between to provide a contrast
between the concrete and the walls of similar
colours.
|
| |
The decking
was extended to include a BBQ area to the rear wall along the
house, with a step surrounding the whole decking to allow easy
transport between house and backyard
|
| |
A feature
screen was installed into the garden with a stackstone face, with a
wider paver in front on top of the wall to use for a large feature
pot or ornament.
The fence screening was installed and
covered with a thin bamboo reed screening and timber
border
