The yard still had the original layout and the slope of the area didn't really allow for much entertaining 

 The area was excavated for the new works to begin. The top area had tp be excavated far enough down to pave a flatter area for entertaining

 Once the area was levelled a block retaining wall was constructed to tier the top area up another level. Concrete bases were poured for all paving areas for a solid foundation

 Maison reconstituted sandstone pavers were used in the paving areas. A render finish was applied to the block walls to match the paving and steps installed to link the top area with the bottom. A spa was installed in the top corner

 After the paving was completed synthetic turf was laid in the lawn areas for low maintenance, with drought tolerant plants used in garden beds

  Lighting was also installed to highlight the area at night
