Rosanna
This pool area in suburban Rosanna was
constantly getting dirtied up by overhanging trees and shrubs and
became a problem for the owners. The old fence was also tired and
didn't offer a great deal of privacy whilst using the swimming
pool
After the unwanted trees were removed off
site the posts for the new timber screen were installed and the
framework for construction
90mm merbau hardwood screen was constructed
as the feature screen, with dressed cypress pine posts at each join
to break up too much of the same colour timber
The tired old concrete path which wound
around the pool was starting to wear down and move, so a new path
was constructed with paving step stones with river rock
infill
A mixture of native and NZ plants were used
in the garden to give a semi-tropical feel to the garden. Lomandra
tanika lines the path next to the wall.
