Brick pavers can be made from clay or
concrete, and there is also a wide variety of larger square or
rectangle pavers made from the same materials. Natural materials
are also used for standard sizes, in bluestone, marble, terracotta,
sandstone, limestone, or you can also use timbers as pathway
material. Pavers can be in filled with plants or pebbles to break
up an area of paving.
Natural materials can be used in random
sizes for crazy paving for a classic broken or natural
effect.
Paving can also extend to being a gravel,
pebble or stone area. Popular choices in Melbourne are Lilydale
Toppings, Granitic Sand, Stone Dust, or Crushed Rock (road base) as
a compacted material. Or, there are a wide range of pebbles or
river rocks in different sizes and colours that can be used as a
ground material in an area
